When you have some unexpected events happen in life,
a few hours wandering in the gardens of an
art museum can really help clear your mind.

I have come to appreciate the calming beauty of nature a lot more recently.

It is amazing what a moment amidst nature can do for a soul -- I adore the sun, sand, and beach sounds of the waves lolling into shore to experience my calming moments. That is where I find myself in the most Zen state that I can possibly achieve; it is one of the most beautiful sounds to fall asleep to.

I agree with both of you. It's easy to forget that when you don't have time to enjoy it. And as far as sounds to fall asleep to, my favorite is thunderstorms.

What a good picture - I went to a picnic at the Chelsea Physic Garden in London last night and it was really lovely - so relaxing
