******** UPDATED HOUR 17********
*Taking a break to go to Viking fest during House 7!*
This is my 19th readathon (see links below). Today you can find me posting on Litsy and as @avidreader25.
After the strangeness of the past year, it's a joy to return to something familiar. Dewey Readathons have been a staple in my house for a decade now! Now I always make sure I have a selection of shorter books, plays, and graphic novels to choose from each April and October. Here's to a day spent reading and snacking!

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Chips and guacamole!
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I've read all the works of Shakespeare. My pup Ollie has participated in every Dewey readathon with me. And we just had a Dragons Love Tacos party to celebrate my youngest kiddo's birthday!
5) If you participated in the last readathon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? I might read with my kids a little more this time. My kids are 2 and 5 and it will be fun to read to them and get them excited about the readathon too! We're also going to swing by a fun local Viking Fest later. It's always entertaining.

Lovely to see some familiar faces on the readathon linky page :-)
I can't believe your kids are 5 and 2 already! Your trip to Sydney seems so long ago.
Good luck with your reading plans. I'm hoping to read some kids books today too - it will be a good thing to do for work.
Brona - Can you believe how fast time flies? We talk about that trip frequently and can't wait to take the girls there one day.
