I am surprised you forgot Attachments by Rainbow Rowell since you just reviewed it. I read the book because of your review and loved it!

annieb - Ha, well aren't I just on top of things? Thanks for thinking of that one and I'm so glad you loved it!

I still so adore this series!

I didn't realize Ann Patchett had a novel based in Nebraska. I really enjoy her work and definitely should pick that one up, especially because I have just around zero knowledge about the state of Nebraska.

You reminded me that I'm in the middle of the 1000 White Women audio (stopped for The Stand). I was just wondering what to listen to when I'm done...mystery solved! ;)

I need to read more Cather.

Nikki - Cather's work is about the extent of my knowledge. I do love Patchett's work though, so I need to read that one as well.

Trish - I really loved O Pioneers! It was the perfect Cather to start with.

I haven't read O Pioneers since I was in 11th grade?! all I remember is watching the terrible movie in class with Anne Heche. :) I've also read My Antonio and enjoyed it. Is it Song of the Lark? And Death Comes to the Archibishop? too lazy to google the titles...

Trish - Death Comes to the Archibishop is my next Cather I want to read.

I love your Reading the States posts. Such a unique idea, and it groups books together in a way I would never have thought of!

Amy - Thanks! I've had fun learning more about the literary life of each state.
