This week's Top Ten from The Broke and the Bookish asks for the Top Ten Series I Haven't Finished (because either you didn't like them, you just have procrastinated, etc.) The top 5 are ones I don’t plan on finishing because for one reason or another the series didn’t hook me enough to want to continue. The last 5 are series that I definitely plan on finishing, I just haven’t gotten to all of the books yet.
Series I Won’t Finish:
1) The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini
2) Gregory Maguire’s Wicked Years series
3) Outlander
4) The Maze Runner
5) The Left Behind series
Series I Plan on Finishing:
6) Howl’s Moving Castle series
7) Stephen Lawhead’s Pendragon Cycle
8) Mary Stewart’s Merlin Series
9) The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Series
10) Sue Grafton’s Alphabet Mystery Series
I’ve made a big effort to finish quite a few series in the past year for this challenge, including the Lemony Snicket series, Anne of Green Gables series, C.S. Lewis’ Space Trilogy, The Dark is Rising series and the Wolves of Mercy Falls series.

I have always meant to read the Merlin series by Mary Stewart. I should move it up the list maybe! Have a great week!
Quixotic Magpie - I really enjoyed the first one and have been looking forward to the rest of the series.
Oh, you finished the Space Trilogy? Good for you! That's one that is on my list today, and I don't know when I'll ever get to it... *sigh*
Thanks for sharing your lists!
Cecelia - That's funny, I just saw that was on your list too! I did just finish it, but I was not impressed.
Well, I'm with you on not finishing Left Behind and Outlander series. I want to finish Harry Potter but book 5 seems to be lost in the mail. I might someday finish Hunger Games and I would love to start the Howl's Moving Castle series.
:)
I'm with you on Wicked and The Maze Runner series. Not worth investing in!
Also gave up on Outlander after the second book, which everyone seems to have loved as much as the first, but that I had difficulties with.
I liked the first book of the Maze Runner and might pick up the second at some undetermined point, just to know what happens next.
Care - The Hunger Games and Harry Potter are both worth finishing! Howl's is a great book too.
Jenners - I read Son of a Witch and that one left me bored as well so I gave up on the series.
Alex - I liked but didn't love the first Maze Runner book, but I heard nothing but mediocre and disappointed reviews of the other books in the series.
Oooh Stewart's Merlin series - I loved that as a teen. I really want to reread it one of these days :)
Kat - I wish I'd read them when I was younger. I still like them, but I think I would have adored them as a teen.
