Sheryl - The official name of the metro stop is: Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter. The memorial is at the top of the escalator when you leave the metro. One of my best friends lived there for awhile and this was her favorite memorial! If you visit it, make sure you walk the perimeter of the memorial, it's incredible!

Where is this memorial located in DC? We still haven't made it there yet with the kids, but it is on the must-do list.

I've been there quite a few times and never seen this!
Sandy - I'd been multiple times and never saw it until this last trip. It's really beautiful.
