Other than Indiana (nothing against it, of course, just the lack of a personal connection :P) those all work really well on me too.

Yep Indiana works for me too, as well as gothic. I am a sucker for gothic!

Ooo libraries and dragons! Great picks :)

Crazy enough, I don't think I've ever read a book with dragons in it. I hear you on your home state. There's something special about reading about a place you have such a personal connection with. I've loved reading stories set in Scotland while living here. It just adds so much to the experience.

Yes, yes, yes to London, road trips, and libraries. Great list!
Here's my TTT

Lovely! My personal catches are post-apocalyptic, biographies of scientists or interesting facets of science, books about food or cooking, and whenever anybody pulls in magical realism (even though that is such a large idea and oftentimes cited a bit haphazardly).

Oh the jazz age! What does it have that the more you read about it the more you like it?

Fun list! I like several of the things on your list, although I'm with you on being burnt out on dystopias. It almost makes you think that there is such a thing as a book or series becoming too popular.

Exchange Indiana with Georgia and our lists would be very similar! The jazz age always has me weak in the knees!

Hmm, not quite sure about Indiana ;-)

We have many similar words on our lists...surprise surprise!

Ana - I think Indiana could be substituted for anyone's hometown.

Sandy - There's nothing quite like curling up with a gothic mystery on a cold night.

Sarah - Dragons in a library, now there's a thought!

Kristi - I loved the Anne McCaffrey series when I was in college. Try the Dragon Song book if you think it looks good!

Natalie - Great list, circus is a fun one!

Nikki - Ohh, good ones! Post-apocalyptic, cooking and science are all fun ones.

booksandreviews - It's so true! I can't get enough of it!

Rachel - That's so true!

Brooke - I love Georgia books too! Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and Gone With the Wind immediately come to mind.

JoAnn - I think that's probably the reason there's only a handful of books set here :)

Suey - Ha, of course we do!

Love this prompt. I might have to try it. Hardly any of your words (except Dystopia) would be on my list!

Rebecca - I'm reading a book right now about the rise of murder by poison during the jazz age. It had those words in the subtitle, I couldn't resist!

Jenners - I love that readers can have such different tastes!
