I love these trees and dream of walks through Central Park all the time... It's such a beautiful place to be and this image captures the stuff of my daydreams - the wide and lazy paths, the sprawling trees, the calm in the center of the storm that is NYC.
Ha! This is so funny. My brother called my from Central Park today to remind me (and rub it in) that he's in NYC this week. He also added for good measure that he's going to see Wicked tomorrow. Thanks big brother for living out two of my dreans for me, you're the best! hahah ~Care
I love Central Park! We have photos that are almost identical to this one. They just capture your eye, don't they? I love reading the inscriptions on the benches too.
ah i miss living in ny. (23rd and broadway) the food.. the park.. the trains. it's all so lovely. although once, late at night, i was taking the 9 back home from harlem and some crazy drunk started chasing me. i had to move from one car to the next. finally, at one stop, i ran out and ran forward to the front car. he left me alone after that.
other than that though, i always felt really safe in the city.
tracy - I'm jealous, I love NYC and I think it would be a wonderful experience to live there for awhile. I lived in London for a bit and my flatmates had some dirty old man flash them one night. Weird stuff happens in big cities.

Makes you want to go take a walk, doesn't it?
Beautiful shot! I love the tangled arms of the trees.

Beautiful! Would love to be there right now.
Lovely! Love the perspective. I could definitely curl up there with a book!
I completely wish I was there today too.
