Yes, the photo is my sorry attempt at creating a number 1 out of books. It's my one year blogiversary today! I just want to tell you all how grateful I am for this wonderful community of readers. It's been so rewarding to discuss books and get recommendations from all of you. I can't believe it's only been one year.

Teacher/Learner - The bottom is a fake book, that I store things in on my desk at home. The main stack is my collection of Penguin cloth-bound classics, then The Moonstone, The Invisible Man, Good Omens and on the top is Les Mis.

Way to go! I had no idea you were so young! It goes by fast doesn't it? And I have always maintained that one year in blogland is like five normal years. You should be very proud of yourself!

Alexandra - I actually started another blog with a friend in Dec. '09 (A Tale of Two Bloggers). Then after about a month I realized that all I really wanted to blog about was books, so I started this.
LindyLouMac - It feels longer than a year. I've been on Library Thing since 2006, so I had all of my books rated a catelogued already.
