It is an ego boost isn't it? ;) I tried this a couple weeks ago and my result was Margaret Atwood...which I was perfectly ok with.
I had never even heard of the first author I got! It's pretty fun though. Congrats on Oscar Wilde. Definitely a compliment!
I got Chuck Palhniuk, Raymond Chandler, and Stephen King. Such a fun little app!
I put in some of my writing and I, too, was told I write like Oscar Wilde. I'll take that!
I was very flattered, but I don't know if I can truly take it seriously. Fun though!
David Foster Wallace and James Joyce. Surprised, flattered, and a bit befuddled :oD
Cool! I tried it with 3 different bits of writing and got Vladimir Nabokov twice. I don't see the similarities, but I'll take it.
