So barren -- for me, I couldn't even imagine visiting ND, although I am sure there is beauty to be found there.

That is really a gorgeous picture. We drove through the Dakotas on a family vacation years ago. The only thing I remember is that is was like 110 degrees!

Diane - I was in awe of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It looks like the South Dakota Badlands, just incredibly beautiful!

Heather - We saw one of the Wilder museums while we were there!

Sandy - We were definitely driving through on our way to Montana, but there were some pretty places in between the open fields of nothing.
