Laptop Case

Sunday, January 23, 2011

One of my favorite Christmas presents this year was a new laptop messenger bag for my MacBook. Since I started blogging I have wanted to get a better bag to carry my little laptop around. I wanted something simple and light that could be expanded or squished into another bag easily. This Built one is perfect! It's soft and light and even has an extra pocket on the outside for a notebook or papers.

What do you guys use or where do you normally blog from? I blog mainly from home, but I love going to a coffee shop or Panera Bread for some uninterrupted work.

I used to haul my laptop to my student teaching job in a big briefcase...yeah, kind of awkward! I blog from home sweet home :)

I do have a squishy little case for my netbook, but usually I just throw it in my backpack since it is so small. I like the look of this one!

I am blogging more and more on my iPad now. It's not quite a laptop but there's very little I haven't been able to do. One thing I haven't mastered yet, though, is how to add photos anywhere but at the end of my text - either via Safari ot the Wordpress app.

I often also write my posts at Panera Bread(!) on weekday mornings before I report to work. No interruptions, free coffee refills, and the aromas, my God the aromas...!

I love your case. My laptop has a 17.5 screen so I'm having trouble finding a case that I like that also fits it. :( I usually just end up tossing it in a backpack that I have that has a built in cushion for a laptop.

I usually blog at home. I have three young kids so when I do go out, it's usually with them so I don't have much time to myself. :) I blog while the two older ones are at school or at night when they're all in bed.

I have a big, padded backpack for my laptop that came with a previous, bigger laptop, so this Christmas I also got a smaller case like this one only less cool-looking. I always blog from home. There aren't many places to go in my small town, and I rarely write blog entries when I'm at chess events in other cities--I use that time to read.

I love hearing where you guys write.

bibliophilica - The aromas and the coffee refills, that's what hooked me.

Kristi - My husband has a big 17" laptop and we got this laptop sleeve for his...

It works well to provide extra padding for when you stick it in another bag. I can't imagine trying to find time to blog while wrangling 3 kids. I'm impressed!

Ooh, this is lovely! My MacBook Pro is needing a real bag with a strap!

Coffee - It's perfect for my MacBook, so it would probably work really well for a MacBook Pro too.
