Books & Brews

Thursday, January 5, 2017

So there's this little pub in a town near me and it's called Books & Brews. Obviously this is a new favorite place. Not only is the beer good (I had The Stout of Monte Cristo) the beer and food all have literary names! Check out the sandwich list below...

There's a cozy little second floor where you can shop for books or sit and chat while you enjoy your beer. There's a nook for kids on the first floor. I just love it. I can assure you we will be back again soon!

That's awesome! There is a pub here called the Library Pub and they use books as decorative elements, but do not have the book buying portion. I still like going there!

That is the best thing ever!! We have nothing like that anywhere near me. I love the Stout of Monte Cristo, ha!

Kailana - I would love that place!

Amanda - It's such a fun idea. I love that it's geared completely towards book nerds who love beer... me!

This sounds awesome! I'm not particularly a fan of beer, but I'm pretty sure I would hang out at this place anyway! :)

This is amazing! There's a bookstore in my town that has a cafe, but I think it's only open at certain times and I haven't gotten the chance to try it out, yet. It's on my bucket list for this year :)

I've only been there a couple times but like it. My friends and I keep meaning to go up for one of their live trivia nights (it used to be that the winner got to name a beer - I have several names standing by....) I went to an MCPL "book discussion" event there once too. Interesting place. :-)

Julie - You'll have to go just for the sandwiches and books!

Maggie - I love supporting local places when possible.

bibliophilica - I want to attend one of their trivia nights!
