What a terrific shot. Hope I make it to London some time.

The Eye wasn't built yet when I was in London. We keep talk about taking the kids someday, such a fun city to visit.

Brings me back.

We took our kids on it in August and it was really great. The views are so amazing being right on the Thames with so much around.

My husband I were laughing because they have a small one kind of like the London Eye in Glasgow City Centre. There are tall buildings all around. Not quite the same effect. :)

Diane - It's my favorite city in the world.

Sandy - Your kids would love it. There's just so much to do. The museum, theatre, historical buildings, parks, etc.

BookQuoter - Me too, it's been too long.

Kristi - That's hilarious! I agree, it's definitely the view that makes the Eye worth it, not the ride itself.

When I was in London I saw Denzel Washington in the line for the London Eye. I think that was my first celebrity siting.

I love it! I know some people complain that it's an eyesore (hah! no pun intended), but I love the Eye. And the views were spectacular.

softdrink - The view from the top definitely makes it worth it!

Brenna - No way! I saw Sigourney Weaver at the Tate Modern in London. That woman is tall!

Awesome photo Melissa! Sadly I've never seen anyone famous there, and on each of my 3 visits it's been dull with low cloud and poor visibility from the top!

Erika Price - What a bummer! I went on it while I was living there, so we waited for a perfect sky, a rare thing in London!
