I felt extremely sorry for Jane Fairfax by the end - she was going to have to work hard all her life to keep Frank responsible, ethical and thoughtful.

But Mr Knightley just improves with each read *sigh!Bronahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11110584237325026052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8481406859587493585.post-91251886434916387572015-08-17T13:58:56.150-04:002015-08-17T13:58:56.150-04:00I love your thoughts on this one. Which might not at all be the point! (Or it might! Or maybe it's both, depending on the reader.) I hope to reread & experience some of the Austen magic, when a first look at Austen finds its complete opposite in a reread. :)*ೃ༄ Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14139487177036647728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8481406859587493585.post-39719520808082723052015-08-17T12:44:57.328-04:002015-08-17T12:44:57.328-04:00ebookclassics - Persuasion is my personal favorite...ebookclassics - Persuasion is my personal favorite. I love Anne's character and how their romance develops over time. I always understood why Emma is disliked, but always viewed her actions as forgivable because she always had good intentions. Knightley has always been my favourite Austen love interest because he's so patient and kind when dealing with Emma. Which Austen novel is your favourite?ebookclassicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508399438088766619noreply@blogger.com
