I've read about 3 of her books. They're all pretty funny. A nice little treat in between heavier reads.Jennershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08044537551139633301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8481406859587493585.post-87333542174786740222011-02-22T10:08:13.387-05:002011-02-22T10:08:13.387-05:00+JMJ+

I checked out your site as well and it's wonderful.

Alexandra - Grapes of Wrath, now there's an upper. I needed a break after that one too.

Enbrethiliel - I agree with that for fictional characters, but this one worked for me because it was nonfiction. She was talking about herself and was willing to show herself in an unpleasant light.Melissa (Avid Reader)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02119628715475021774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8481406859587493585.post-69187117907034444272011-02-21T14:08:37.624-05:002011-02-21T14:08:37.624-05:00+JMJ+

If I wouldn't want someone for a friend or colleague, I wouldn't want to read about him unless the book were really, really freaking good.Enbrethilielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03414765854670926854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8481406859587493585.post-71034350493503576602011-02-21T13:43:38.592-05:002011-02-21T13:43:38.592-05:00I also do that! I've read so far this month War and Peace, Oliver Twist and Remains of the Day and my brain is revolting!

I love your bottom line! People like her drive me nuts in real life, but I can see how her snarkiness would make for a great book. I've been wanting to read one her's for a while.Kristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07343557750428307066noreply@blogger.com
